Butterfly Convention illustration Sphere Two marks a new
Description
Sphere Two marks a new direction in my work with a switch to the mediums of oil paint and cold wax
By embracing spontaneity and letting go of overthinking
It illustrates the joy of swinging my arms in large swooping gestures
Ornamental Grass One is an original cyanotype on archival watercolor paper
not just soil
Butterfly Convention illustration Sphere Two marks a newMixed media (printers ink, watercolor, India ink) on Arches watercolor paper Image size 6" x 6", Paper size 11" x 11" Masking the butterflies, I printed a layer of dark ink to make their colorful watercolored wings glow.
